I'm not a big Mandy Moore or Robin Williams fan, but I am a HUGE JK fan, not the internet lingo. I saw the preview when I went to go see Knocked Up, which was extremely hilarious, and I was so excited when I saw that Jon was going to be on the big screen. | The summer sucks. I know it's cool cause there's no school, but I'd much rather write the occasional paper or present a 15 minute Power Point than live at home away from everybody. I know I will make the summer just as good as I did last summer, not hard to beat that one, but I'm just venting to everyone that I have realized that the older you get, the less exciting summers get.
I go through a couple different phases of realizing how old I am, then I remember how young I am.
I think that I should reall start planning for the future, then I realize that I'll miss everything that's going on now.
I worry about things like how I don't want a boring desk job and that I'm really interested in making stupid videos and podcasts that people think are funny.
I worry about where my family will be in a couple years and what's going to happen when my sister is out of school.
I worry that I'll "get to tired and start settling" with everything
I worry, I sin, I know my life is great and much better than I deserve and changing one thing does not change much for me, as I see that it doesn't after some time.
Sorry, you know I'm good for one of these every so often, I believe my last one was in January or so...
So... (as all good businessmen should do), I have made a list of things I would like to accomplish this summer:
1. Workout/get skinny/look like a white JM with hair
2. Hang out with the family
3. Go to as many Stros and Dynamo (yeah I said it) games as possible
4. Hang out with the local brothers and alumn brothers
5. Go to Dallas, Austin, and San Antone (done 1, planned 1, hoping for the other, that's what she said)
6. Write a couple songs on the various instruments I can play and attempt to play
7. Spend the night at Kris Lyle's house and go golfing
8. Play soccer with the multitude of people that have asked me
9. Buy a fish and name it Dwight....yeah you know why
10. Beat my Ci Ci's record of 37 slices
11. Get a job other than Mickan Tool and Supply
12. Play "Find the Saltine"
13. Do my usual thing with the Halo crew, we better be going to Six Flags this year
14. Persuade one white guy that "dinkin' flicka" is a new term used on the streets
15. Get back to where I was... I need it | | |
